When something breaks

Fast, proper, warranted.

Equipment failure usually happens at the worst time — 110° summer weekend, pool turning cloudy while the family’s over. You need diagnostics, you need parts, and you need it fixed right the first time. That’s what we do.

Same-day diagnostics

Most issues are diagnosed the day we show up. We carry the common parts — pump seals, cartridges, salt cells, control boards — on the truck, so most repairs happen on the same visit.

Manufacturer-specified repairs

We follow the manufacturer’s service procedures, use quality parts as standard, and don’t cut corners with mismatched components. A repair done right lasts years, not months.

Warranty on our work

Labor is warranted 90 days on standard repairs. Parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty where applicable. If a repair fails inside that window, we come back at no charge.

What we service

Every major pool equipment category.

Six categories of equipment we diagnose, repair, and replace.

Pool pumps

Single-speed and variable-speed. Seal replacement, impeller service, motor rewinds, full replacement. Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, Polaris, A.O. Smith supported where parts are available.

Filters

Cartridge, DE, and sand filters. Media replacement, manifold repair, pressure-issue diagnostics, and full filter replacement when needed.

Heaters & heat pumps

Gas heaters (Raypak, Pentair Master Temp, Hayward) and electric heat pumps. Ignition issues, pressure-switch failure, thermostat replacement, flow problems, and full replacement.

Salt chlorinators

Salt-cell cleaning and replacement, control-board diagnostics, flow-switch service, and output calibration. Major brands supported.

Automation & controls

Pentair and Jandy automation diagnostics, relay replacement, valve-actuator service, and Wi-Fi module setup. Most systems repaired on the first visit.

Lighting & water features

LED niche-light conversion, transformer replacement, fountain and waterfall pump service, fiber-optic conversion where applicable.

Why pool equipment dies faster here

Phoenix is hard on pool equipment.

Three reasons Phoenix pool equipment fails earlier than in most places — and what we check first.

UV + heat degradation

Our sun destroys plastic housings, rubber seals, and salt-cell plates faster than anywhere cooler. We see pumps with cracked strainer lids at 4 years old and salt cells at half their rated life. Age isn’t always the issue — sun is.

Hard-water mineral damage

Phoenix calcium hardness (250–400 ppm) builds up inside heaters, on heat exchangers, and on salt-cell plates. Heat-exchanger failure is the #1 reason gas heaters die early in this area.

Heat + voltage drift

When ambient temperature hits 115°F and equipment panels sit in full sun, voltages drift and control boards fry. We check voltage under load, not just at idle.

How a repair runs

Diagnose, quote, fix.

No mystery diagnostics, no open-ended hourly meter — every step quoted flat before we start.

Call with symptoms

Tell us what’s wrong — “pump making a grinding noise,” “heater won’t fire,” “salt cell reads zero output.” We bring the right parts based on the description.

Diagnose on-site

Most failures are diagnosed in 15–30 minutes. We walk you through what we found and what options exist — repair, replacement, or upgrade — with flat pricing on each.

Repair on-site, usually same-day

Common parts are on the truck. For parts we don’t carry, we order same-day and schedule the repair once the part arrives (usually 1–2 business days).

Written invoice + warranty

Every repair documented with part numbers, serials, and warranty terms in writing. Keep it with your pool records.

Our commitment

Here’s what’s in writing.

Pool equipment failures are stressful — the last thing you need is a vendor who drags it out. Here’s what we commit to on every repair call.

Same-day response where we can

Active repair calls are prioritized on the route. Most diagnostic visits happen within 24 hours, and common repairs wrap the same day.

Flat-price quotes, no surprises

Every repair quoted flat before we start. Parts, labor, and test-out all included. No hourly meter, no “diagnostic fees” tacked on later.

90-day labor warranty

Every standard repair carries a 90-day labor warranty on our work. If it fails inside that window, we come back at no charge and make it right.

Common questions

Common questions.

If your question isn’t here, call or text — we typically reply same-day.

(602) 879-3902
What equipment brands do you service?

Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, Polaris, Raypak, Intermatic, Zodiac, and A.O. Smith for most common pool equipment. If it’s a less-common brand, we’ll tell you honestly whether we can source parts or whether you’re better off with a brand swap.

How quickly can you diagnose a failure?

We aim for same-day or next-business-day diagnostics on reported failures. Most diagnostic visits take 15–30 minutes on-site, and we quote the repair flat before proceeding with any parts or labor.

Do you use OEM parts or aftermarket?

OEM (manufacturer-brand) parts as standard. Aftermarket only when OEM is unavailable and we’ve confirmed compatibility with you first. No surprise substitutions, no “equivalent” swaps without your approval.

Will I get a written estimate before any repair work begins?

Always. After diagnostics, you get a flat written estimate with parts, labor, and timeline before we touch anything beyond the diagnostic. If a repair turns out to be bigger than expected once equipment is opened up, we stop, call you, and re-quote — no surprise add-ons on the invoice.

Is your repair work warranted?

Yes. 90-day labor warranty on standard repairs. Parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty where applicable. If a repair fails inside the warranty window, we come back at no charge and either re-do the work or refund it.

What are the most common equipment failures in Phoenix?

Pump motor failure (heat and bearing wear), heat-exchanger scaling on gas heaters, salt-cell plate degradation, and filter cartridge over-extension. All accelerated by heat, UV, and hard water — which is why prevention is cheaper than reaction here.
